Creating a video: Improving our movement in sport
In order for us to improve how we perform in sport, we must think about how physical factors can assist us in this process. These physical factors include:
- Force
- Space
- Time
- Mass
- Objects
Follow the steps below for how to complete this task, alternatively you can rewatch the video posted on the home page.
Watch video from 1.55 for information on this learning activity.
1. Using your school laptop take a video of yourself completing a vertical jump as practiced in class.
2. Upload your video onto teams using the link that has been sent to you via direct message on SEQTA.
3. Your friend will also upload a video of themselves completing a vertical jump, you will receive a notification of this. I will also be a member of this group so that I can track your progress.

4. Provide some comments on how they can improve their vertical jump, remembering to focus on the points highlighted in red above.
5. Using this feedback, create another video of you attempting an improved jump.
6. Take both of the videos and upload these onto Canva. Make a small creative video on your improvements. Some assistance on how to do this is discussed in the video below.
7. Once completed you can share the link with myself for viewing.
8. You may also attempt this with other sports if both yourself and your friend have come up with a common idea. Please run this past me first to see if it works with our topic.
